Grupa Strategia at 4th Warsaw Half-Marathon
The participants of the 4th Warsaw Half-Marathon started the run on the Zamkowy Square at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday, the 29th of March 2009. There were over 5.000 runners participating. It was a special run because of the altered route of the Half-Marathon. The start and the finish were located on the Krakowskie Przedmieście for the first time in the history.
There were good weather conditions accompanying the run. The spring air was favorable to the runners. The first position among men was scored by a runner from Kenya Michael Karonei, followed shortly by a Polish runner Michał Kaczmarek. Małgorzata Sobańska from Poland was first among the women.
Grupa Strategia following the tradition took part in this half-marathon. Our team was represented by the President – Adam Ciuhak, Anja Fels (Germany), Justyna Osińska and Graham Rose (Australia). President Adam Ciuhak finished the run as first one from our team with a score of 01:44:43 The rest of our Grupa Strategia runners arrived to the finish line some time later.
